Since launching ConX Measure, the number one most requested feature has been groupings. Well, we are pleased to announce that it is here!
Some of you will know exactly what I'm talking about, others won't be so sure. Simply put, groupings will allow you to break down measurements into separate components, as you can see below.
What's the deal?
When you're estimating/quoting for a job you'll want to split up certain sections, based on the type of material, and then receive a total for that section. Well, groupings allow you to do exactly that.
How to use groupings:
1 - Select a tool - Rectangle, polygon, oval or length.
2 - Create a group or add your shape to an existing one.
3 - Give the group a name, and then add a colour.
4 - You can add measurements to groups after you’ve made them by clicking the 3 dots here.
Who would use groupings?
Short answer - everyone.
Anyone needing to split up their measurement into sections.
You may be a tiler and are sectioning up the different types of tiles you need to use.
You may be a plasterer, and want to break up the walls which have different heights.
There are thousands of different use cases for this new feature, and we’re excited to see how you guys use it. Let us know in the comments below!
